來看聯合國憲章之聯合國宗旨
早上看新聞說, 聯合國安理會召開由美國提議譴責俄羅斯攻擊烏克蘭並請求制止的議案中, 俄羅斯否決, 中國印度阿拉伯聯合大公國都棄權, 因此這項議案被否決掉. 這項議案中提議俄國應立即、完全和無條件將其軍隊撤出烏克蘭領土並呼籲各方迅速予以人道主義援助,但十五國投票, 十一國贊成, 三國棄權, 一國自己是常務理事國及當事者投下否決票, 看來聯合國對俄國的侵略行為違反聯合國憲章顯然沒有作用. 所以我懷疑這個組織到底還有什麼意義存在.
雖然台灣不是聯合國會員, 但台灣一直想再重返聯合國未果, 只是這個今天不想阻止俄羅斯的侵略行為的組織, 到底一開始成立的目的是什麼呢? 我們來看一下聯合國憲章的第一條, 聯合國的宗旨到底是什麼, 或許也會跟我一樣懷疑吧.
Article 1(英文)
The Purposes of the United Nations are:
To maintain international peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and international law, adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;

聯合國之宗旨為：
一、維持國際和平及安全；並為此目的：採取有效集體辦法，以防止且消除對於和平之威脅，制止侵略行為或其他和平之破壞；並以和平方法且依正義及國際法之原則，調整或解決足以破壞和平之國際爭端或情勢.
